Internet/ Cell Phone Connection

Is the cell network good?
 We have a 300 MBPS wifi connection, with wifi access points across the
entire property.
 You can definitely enjoy watching videos in high def using this.

Can I do a zoom call from the property?
 Absolutely! With our 300 MBPS connection you can definitely do a zoom call!
 

Food

Do you provide breakfast?
 Yes we have a full service breakfast in our villas, including fruit, cereal, juices,
tea, coffee, and a hot item (eggs your choice, dosas / idlis, pancakes, etc).
The menu will be shared in advance with you.

Do you have an onsite chef?
 Yes! Our chef is well trained, and can do multi-cuisine preparations, including
special BBQ’s, etc. The menu shall be shared with you prior to your visit.

Can we cook in the kitchen ?
 The kitchen is used exclusively by our staff, and as such we do not permit
guests to cook in the kitchen due to safety and hygiene concerns.

Are there restaurants near by?
 Absolutely! All the best Alibaug restaurants deliver to our Villa, or you can visit
them in a 5 minute driving radius.

 

Staff

Can we bring our own staff?
 It is not needed as we have a full time chef, three houskeepers, and an Estate
Manager to help you with your stay!

Can you provide driver accommodation?
 Yes, this is possible on a chargeable basis.

 

Pool

Is the pool heated?
 Yes, this is heated based on request (please contact the Estate Manager post
your booking).

What is the pool depth?
 4 feet

Do you provide any pool toys?
 We have a wide variety of pool toys to keep you and your friends or children
busy.

 

Kids / Younger Children

Can you provide special kids meals?
 Yes, we can customizes our meals, please speak to our Estate Manager once
you make your booking.

How will we occupy our kids?

   They can swim in our heated pool, play cricket or football in our flood lit court, play
pickleball in our flood lit courts, play on the play set in the kids play areas, or the
common gardens. If they bring a cycle, they can cycle in our premises. We have fast
wi-fi, so their devices will be well connected, or if you wish for them to disconnect our
estate manager can plan for treks, beach visits, etc.

 

Activities

Beach – can we see the beach?
 Absolutely, Awas beach is just 5 minutes from our property. We can have it
arranged.

Treks – can you organize a trek for us?
 Yes there is a lovely trek to Kankeshwar temple, and others also that can be
worked out. These are of moderate intensity and our team can help you
arrange the same.

 

Transportation

How can we reach your property?
 In ascending order of cost:
o Ferries – Like Maldar, and PNP are air conditioned, and typically there
is a ferry every hour. Takes around 45 min – 1 hour, and leaves from
Gateway of India. Costs around Rs 250 / ticket.
o M2M Ro-Pax Ferry – You can take your car on this large ferry, and it is
air conditioned. Multiple classes of travel exist and prices vary as per
season, but typically start around Rs. 350-450 per ticket.
o Speed Boats – a 12 seater speed boat is the ultimate way to reach
Alibaug. Taking just 20 minutes from Gateway of India to Mandwa. The
costs vary, but around Rs 8,000-12,000 is the cost of a one way
transfer.
o Driving – The journey is around 2.5 hours by road from Mumbai. Roads
are generally decent, but there are some rough patches here and
there.

 If you take the ferry, or speed boats, you can call us and we can assist you in
arranging a cab from the Jetty to our property.

What if we don’t bring our car, how will we get around?
 We can help you with arranging a cab to take you around Alibaug. We have
tie-ups with trusted local vendors.

Can you pick us up from the jetty?
 Yes we can arrange a pick up from a trusted local vendor (additional charges
apply).

How long is the drive from Mumbai?
 It is around 2.5 hours from Mumbai, but will soon get shorter once the Revas-
Karanja bridge opens.

Can you recommend a good speed boat company ?
 We are happy to do so, kindly get in touch post bookings and we will assist
you with the same.
